Sacred Moments is a spiritual journey which captures in words and pictures the fragile existence of religion in Ireland today, from the contemplative at Glencairn Abbey to the challenge of pilgrimage in Lough Derg, from sacred music at Glenstal to the pastoral and parish work carried out throughout the country. The seven chapters denote the seven prayer times of the contemplative, thus paying homage to this sacred number of perfection. It is tightly wrought, charting in black and white a visual and spiritual image of people, their lives and work, whether in prayer, song, pastoral care or sculpture.
